This tree carving was done for Joe
for his marriage proposal to Emily.
It has four Roses of Sharon at each
corner and the family shield with the
words on it and two interconnected
circles. It is just behind the restaurant
the family owns. Joe decorated it with
candles and Champagne. Reports are
she said yes.

This picture of the carving was taken a year or so later and the
vines on the tree grew around the carving nicely, just in time
for the wedding.
 Joe's mother commissioned me to make a relica of the tree carving
for a wedding rehearsal gift so they cound have the carved sentiment
forever. I heard they were very pleased. Bon Voyage, Joe and Emily.
