Carving on Oak 8 feet x 30 inches diameter
I did this large Tiki carving for a couple living on a lake in Connecticut. It was August and a great place to have an office for about a week. The tree was oak and that's a tough wood to carve. And only because the details were simple and shallow did I accept the gig. But I had a nice time there. It's a great location in CT to live. You can see my staging is only about 15 feet from the water's edge.
