Life-size Crocodile for Zoo

I did this life-size croc for the Franklin Park Zoo in Jamaica Plain, just south of Boston. They wanted it life size at 22 feet long. It took two log pieces to get the length and four more pieces for each leg. A friend with a flat bed crane used for cemetery vaults helped me deliver it. It looked great going through downtown Boston on the expressway. The kids visiting the zoo would line up at the tail, walk the length of the croc and jump off it's nose. The nice paint job by my sister took a beating.
