Nude Torso in Butternut

This Nude Torso was carved specifically in this piece of wood because the wood grain helped me define many of body features. You can see the wood grain outlines the breast, belly, thighs, back, and bum. It took patience to only remove so much material for the wood grain to do this. The base is black walnut with a felt pad.
